Small Claims Assessment Review

If you timely filed an filed an Application for Correction of Assessment and feel aggrieved by the decision of the Board of Assessment Review; you are legally entitled to file Small Claims Assessment Review (SCAR) Petition

Unless you had a grievance already heard by the Board of Assessment Review; you do not qualify to file a SCAR.  

SCAR petitions must be filed with the Nassau County Clerk's office within 30 days of the publishing of the Final Roll. A copy of the petition, including assigned an AR index number, must then be delivered to Sea Cliff Village Hall within 10-days of the filing.
