PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

 

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held as to the following matter:

 

Agency:         Zoning Board of Appeals, Village of Sea Cliff

Date:              January 18, 2022

Time:              7:00 pm

Place:             Village Hall, 300 Sea Cliff Avenue, Sea Cliff, New York

 

Subject:          Application of John D’Agate, 170 Franklin Avenue, Sea Cliff, New York, to construct a front porch addition, which construction requires variances of the following Village Code sections: (a) 138-405, to permit lot coverage of 33.5%, where a maximum of 30% is permitted; (b) 138-408, to permit a front yard setback of 5.95 feet, where a minimum of 20 feet is required; and (c) 138-411, to permit a side yard setback of 1.75 feet, where a minimum of 10 feet is required.  Premises are designated as Section 21, Block 178, Lot 318 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map.

 

Application of Owen and Alicja McCrudden, 21 Club Road, Sea Cliff, New York, to construct a swimming pool and related improvements, which construction requires variances of the following Village Code sections: (a) 115-21, to permit the pool to be located 4 feet from a property line, where a minimum of 15 feet is required, and (b) 138-1205, to permit the pool patio to be located less than 3 feet from a property line, where not less than 3 feet is required.  Premises are designated as Section 21, Block M, Lot 559 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map.

 

Application of Henry A. Beaudin, III, 285 Glen Avenue, Sea Cliff, New York, to construct a shed in a front yard, where Village Code §138-416 prohibits an accessory structure in a front yard.  Premises are designated as Section 21, Block K, Lot 138 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map.

 

            At the said time and place, all interested persons may be heard with respect to the foregoing matters.  All relevant documents may be inspected at the office of the Village Clerk, Village Hall, 300 Sea Cliff Avenue, Sea Cliff, New York, during regular business hours.

 

            Any person having a disability which would inhibit attendance at, or participation in, the hearing should notify the Village Clerk at least three business days prior to the hearing, so that reasonable efforts may be made to facilitate such attendance and participation.
