Coronavirus (COVID-19) - EMERGENCY ORDER - Village Operations

The Village of Sea Cliff considers the health and well-being of our residents and employees a top priority.  As of 5PM March 28th, there are 7 known cases of COVID-19 in Sea Cliff; there are 73 cases in Glen Cove, 11 cases in Glen Head, and 12 cases in Glenwood Landing. The number of local diagnoses seem to be doubling every two days. It is imperative that everyone take all precautions to Stop the Spread!

Village Hall, our libraries, the firehouse and the museum will temporarily close to the public effective Monday, March 16, 2020 through Sunday, April 19, 2020.

Due to the overcrowding and lack of compliance with the Social Distancing regulations set forth by the Governor that continues to occur at the Boardwalk and the Beach - EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: THERE SHALL BE NO PARKING PERMITTED ON THE BOULEVARD, CLIFF WAY, or the BEACH PARKING LOT 

BUILDING DEPARTMENT:  All construction must shut down except emergency construction. Please see the NYS guidance on essential businesses:  https://esd.ny.gov/guidance-executive-order-2026

All meetings of the Zoning Board of Appeals, the Planning Board, the Architectural Review Board, and the Landmarks Review Board will be re-scheduled for dates to be announced.
